Physicochemical Properties:

Colorless liquid. The freezing point is -44.3°C, the boiling point is 188°C, the relative density is 0.907 (20/4°C), and the refractive index is 1.4115. The flash point is 54°C. It can be miscible with most alcohols, ketones, ethers and halogenated hydrocarbons, and can be miscible with water at room temperature.

 

Applications and Usages :

Used as organic synthesis solvent, component of nitro spray paint for brushing, leveling agent for fiber and leather, leveling agent for photographic printing, etc.
