Physicochemical Properties:

White hygroscopic crystals, odorless, with fishy smell. Mp240°C. The pH of 10% aqueous solution is 5-6, and it is unstable in lye. This product is easily soluble in water and ethanol, insoluble in ether, petroleum ether, benzene and carbon disulfide.

Applications and Usages:

Used for the treatment of fatty liver and liver cirrhosis, also used as a feed additive, can stimulate the ovaries to produce more eggs, litter and increase the weight of poultry and fish.
