Overview: Toluene diisocyanate is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with a pungent odor, which turns yellow under ultraviolet light; it is easy to polymerize when heated in an alloy steel container; it can react with hydroxyl, water, amine and active hydrogen in hydroxyl compounds Compounds react to form carbamate, urea, semicarbazide and biuret, etc.

 

Uses: used as raw materials for the manufacture of polyurethane soft foam plastics, coatings, rubber and adhesives

 

The main harm of TDI: TDI mainly exists in the paint in the decoration, free TDI-80 exceeding the standard will cause harm to the human body, mainly sensitization and irritation, eye pain, tearing, conjunctival congestion, cough, chest tightness, shortness of breath , asthma, red papules, maculopapular rashes, contact allergies and other symptoms. The international limit for free TDI is below 0.5%.
