Main use: This product is a disinfectant and can be made into 1% medicated soap. It is also used as a polymerization terminator for styrene-butadiene rubber. Intermediate of rubber accelerator TMTD and pesticide thiram. Used as industrial fungicides, metal precipitants, vulcanization accelerators for rubber products and agricultural insecticides.

Sodium thiocarbamate is one of the important dialkyldithiocarbamate, so it has the general characteristics of salt, and can generate a series of other metal salts, which has a wide range of social uses. For example, it can be used as a terminator and a vulcanization accelerator in the rubber industry, as a bactericide and algaecide in industrial water treatment, petroleum and papermaking industries, in general for the production of insecticides in agriculture, and as a beneficiation agent in mining, etc. Sodium thiram is also an intermediate of various fungicides, such as thiram, iron thiram, ammonium thiram, nickel iramic, etc. In addition, another important use of formex sodium is as a heavy metal precipitant, which reacts with heavy metal ions at room temperature to form a highly stable chelate salt precipitate, thereby achieving the purpose of removing heavy metal ions in wastewater.
