Uses: Propylene carbonate is a high-efficiency desulfurization and decarbonization solvent, which can be used for natural gas purification and ammonia synthesis raw material gas purification, and has an important prospect in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It can also be used in plasticizers, spinning solvents, dye dispersants, etc., and can also be used in second-generation lithium-ion batteries as an electrolyte to protect graphite anodes. Its wider use is also wood adhesives, which can be used as a raw material for the production of another chemical product, dimethyl carbonate. It can be used as an excellent medium for high-energy batteries and capacitors in the electronics industry. It can be used as a solvent and plasticizer for polymers in the polymer industry; it can be used as a plasticizer for adhesives and sealants; it can also be used as a curing accelerator for phenolic resins. Dispersant for additives and water-soluble adhesive pigments and fillers. In the chemical industry, it is the main raw material for the synthesis of dimethyl carbonate, and it can also be used to remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from natural gas and petroleum cracking gas. In addition, it can also be used in textile, printing and dyeing and other industrial fields.
