Properties : White powder, is a mixture of zinc sulfide and barium sulfate. white crystalline powder. For the mixture of zinc sulfide and barium sulfate, the more zinc sulfide, the stronger the hiding power, the higher the quality. Density 4.136~4.34g/cm3, insoluble in water. When the acid is easy to decompose to produce hydrogen sulfide gas, when hydrogen sulfide and alkali solution does not work. By the sun in the ultraviolet radiation 6~7H into light gray, in the dark still restore the primary color. It is easy to oxidize in the air, and caking and deterioration after moisture. Its whiteness and hiding power are stronger than that of zinc oxide, and its refractive index and opacity power are higher than that of zinc oxide and lead oxide, but inferior to that of titanium dioxide.

Applications and Usages : Use For paint, ink, rubber and other coloring inorganic white pigment, widely used in polyolefin, vinyl resin, ABS resin, polystyrene, polycarbonate, nylon and polyoxymethylene and other plastics and paints, the white pigment of the ink. It is less effective in Polyurethanes and amino resins and less suitable in fluoroplastics. Also used for rubber products, paper, paint cloth, tarpaulin, leather, color pigment, paper, enamel and other coloring. It is used as a binder in the production of electric beads.
