Physicochemical Property:

White to lavender crystals. Turns purple or dark brown when exposed to air. Soluble in water, ethanol, ether, chloroform and benzene.

 

Applications and Usages: 

Mainly used in the manufacture of azo dyes and sulfur dyes. It can also be used as fur dye (such as fur black D, fur blue black DB, fur brown N2, etc.). It can also be used as cosmetic hair dye Ursi D, and can be used in the production of rubber antioxidants DNP, 288 and imaging agents.
