Physicochemical Properties: 

Colorless to water white or light yellow liquid that flows easily. Has a nasty diffuse garlic-like odour. The boiling point is 169°C, or 46.4°C (1333Pa). Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and ether, soluble in oil. Natural products exist in boiled beef.

Applications and Usages:

Used as pharmaceutical intermediates.
