Chemical properties: Pure glutaraldehyde is a colorless transparent oily liquid, soluble in water, ether, ethanol and other organic solvents, melting point -14°C, boiling point 188°C, refraction index (25°C) 1.4330, non-flammable. 25% glutaraldehyde aqueous solution has a relative density of 1.066 (20°C), a melting point of -5.8°C, and a boiling point of 101°C.
