Application:

1. Solvents. It can be used as a good solvent in many organic reactions, such as aromatic hydroxylation, carbonyl conversion, hydroxylamine addition and other reactions in organic synthesis.

 

2. Surfactants. It can be used in the preparation of surfactants, and the generated surfactants can be used in many aspects such as wetting, emulsification, dispersion, and foam stabilization. In addition, p-toluenesulfonyl isocyanate can also be used as an additive for asphalt emulsion waterproofing agent, fireproof material, biomedical material, etc.

 

3. Dyes. After a series of chemical reactions, some compounds that can be used in the field of dyes, such as nonionic dyes and cationic dyes, can be generated.
