Physicochemical Properties: 

Colorless or light yellow flammable liquid. There is a phenol smell. Soluble in about 40 times of water (the solubility in water reaches 2.5% at 40°C and 5.5% at 100°C). Soluble in caustic lye and common organic solvents.

Applications and Usages: 

It is mainly used in pesticides, medicines, spices, resin plasticizers, film, antioxidants, reagents and other chemical industries that require the use of m-cresol.
