Physicochemical Properties: 

Colorless, transparent, volatile and flammable liquid with ammonia odor. Soluble in various organic solvents. Odor threshold ranges from 0.017 to 4.2 ppm; fishy odor becomes pungent at 100 mg/m3.

Applications and Usages: 

Used as rubber accelerator, pharmaceutical intermediate pesticide herbicide, surfactant, etc. It is used as an extraction agent and a catalytic accelerator for polymerization reactions. It is also used for the manufacture of medicines, pesticides, rubber vulcanization accelerators, and surfactants. Diisopropylamine nitrite is used as steel preservative.
