It is used to make iron salts, inks, coal dyes, tanning agents, bleaching agents, and wood preservatives
As a disinfectant and antiseptic
It also has applications in catalyst manufacturing and pesticide production
Used as a chromatographic analysis reagent

Storage:

Ferrous sulfate should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse to avoid high temperature environments, and the packaging must be sealed to prevent moisture, because moisture will cause ferrous sulfate to oxidize and deteriorate, forming insoluble iron sulfate. Keep away from fire and heat sources to avoid fire or accelerate the oxidation process. It should be stored separately from incompatible substances such as oxidants and alkalis to prevent chemical reactions
