Applications and usages : 

As a nitrating agent, it is used for the manufacture of nitrate esters (such as nitroglycerin), nitro compounds (such as nitrobenzene), etc.; for metal surface treatment and metal acid cleaning. As a chemical reagent, it is used for analytical detection; in fertilizer production, contributing to nitrogen fertilizer preparation; it can be used to adjust the pH of wastewater or as an oxidizing agent to remove reducible pollutants from wastewater.

Storage:

Select opaque and corrosion-resistant storage containers, place them in a light-shielded environment with good ventilation, and keep the temperature below 25°C. Nitric acid should be stored separately from other chemicals, especially organic substances, reducing agents, and bases, to prevent violent reactions.
