Product description
Caustic soda is a chemical raw material with strong alkalinity, it has pearls, flake and liquid shapes. Applications are ranging from general purpose to special products regarding customer's satisfactions.
Liquefied caustic soda is also known as sodium hydroxide solution, which is a solution of sodium hydroxide (naoh) and water. Electrolysis of saturated brine (sodium chloride) generates chlorine gas, hydrogen gas and sodium hydroxide during the electrolysis process. When mixed with water, it forms liquid caustic soda.
Ion-exchange membrane caustic soda is chemically known as sodium hydroxide. Its molecular formula is naoh. Common names for it include caustic soda, fire soda, and caustic lime. It is a light-colored, slightly sticky liquid with strong alkalinity and corrosiveness. It is classified into 30% liquid caustic soda and 50% liquid caustic soda based on the content of sodium hydroxide.
