Physicochemical properties: 

This product is liquid, m.p.27～30℃, b.p.217℃/19kpa, n20d 1.4770, relative density 1.097, f.p.137℃.

Applications and Uses:

1. Mainly used as CO2, H2S and SO2 acid gas absorbents, non-ionic surfactants, emulsifiers, polishing agents, industrial gas purifiers, lubricants;

2. It is an intermediate of the herbicide glyphosate; it is used as a gas purifying agent, and also as a raw material for synthetic drugs and organic synthesis.

3. It is an important corrosion inhibitor, which can be used in boiler water treatment, coolant of automobile engine, drilling and cutting oil and other kinds of lubricating oil to play a role in corrosion inhibition;

4. Used as an emulsifier for oils and waxes under acidic conditions, and a softener for leather and synthetic fibers; 5. Used as a thickener and foam improver in shampoos and light detergents;

6. Used as complexing agent for silver plating, cadmium plating, lead plating, zinc plating, etc.
