Dimethyl Disulfide

Chemical properties: 

Insoluble in water, can be miscible with ethanol, ether, acetic acid. It smells bad. The relative density is 1.0625 and the boiling point is 109.7℃. Melting point -85℃. Refractive index 1.5250.

Uses: 

This product is used as a solvent, catalyst passivation agent, pesticide intermediate, coking inhibitor, etc

In the petroleum industry, it is used to improve the efficiency of refining and other oil products. DMDS is also an important fungicide and insecticide that can be used in agriculture and horticulture, for example to protect crops and flowers from germs and pests. Packing: 

This product is packed in aluminum or polyethylene drum and stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place. Avoid heat.
